présentent une projection en continu de films de Käthe Kruse & Die Tödliche Doris

Dans la chapelle Tell sur l’esplanade du Casino, en extérieur donc, seront projetés en continu les films de Käthe Kruse et Die Tödliche Doris, les uns à la suite des autres. Pensée comme une suite de l’exposition Danke ! Die Tödliche Doris, cette projection est constituée de captations des performances, des films en Super 8 mm et des vidéos du groupe d’artistes Die Tödliche Doris, actifs dans le Berlin Ouest des années 1980. Käthe Kruse recycle à son tour cette histoire, ce groupe, ce qu’il en reste et ce qu’on peut faire avec ces restes, en lisant notamment l’entier du contrat stipulant la manière dont peuvent être réutilisés, ou non, leur non-musique kitsch industrielle, leurs films, sculptures, peintures, pièces radio, livres, et leurs costumes.

« The films are all music-video-clips of Die Tödliche Doris, made in the years 1981 to 1987. Some like “Naturkatastrophenkonzert and -ballet� are made for the WDR-Rockpalast, and show the katasthrophes read aout of an dictionary for children. “Übermutti� is made for Barcelona-TV and “Maria� is a song about a little girls who sinks into mud, and made for Spanish TV, and all the other clips are done for a video-festival in Riehen near Basel in 1984. We have been invited to produce three days long music-Clips, editing them one day and performe them the last day in the Reithalle on the Renkenhof. The clips “Rauskommen� and “Ausflug� are made on the documenta 8 in Kassel, 1987. »
